Previous thread

Bug fixes:

  • Tower limits should now be working properly

Changes:

  • Human lumber income from fast mode removed
  • Vampire gold income from fast mode removed
  • Human lumber harvest speed 1.10 -> 1.00 (time between tree hits)
  • Removed attack from super uber workers and higher
  • Humans start with 50->200 lumber
  • Flame towers made cheaper now that tower limits are re-instated
  • Level 1 flame tower damage 800->850
  • Level 2 flame tower damage 1500->1570
  • Level 3 flame tower damage 2300->2400
  • Level 4 flame tower damage 2600->2700
  • Level 5 flame tower damage 2900->3100
  • Mana tower limit 3->6
  • Flame tower limit 1->3
  • Meat wagon lumber cost 1000->2000
  • Meat wagon hp 25000->20000
  • Meat wagon hp regen 0->100
  • Meat wagon gold cost 60->175
  • Meat wagon move speed 50->55
  • Meat wagon stock delay 0->900 (15 minutes)
  • Lich roar mana cost 1000->5000
  • Lich roar cooldown 20->35
  • Lich roar no longer gives pure damage (200->0)
  • Lich roar damage 1300->1700
  • Lich death coil mana cost 2000->8000
  • French men significantly nerfed.                                  (jk)
  • Lich roar no longer affects non-heroes. Sorry opacers, looks like a victory for El Mirador
  • Lich death coil percent heal now only affects heroes
  • Unholy grave percent damage 6.5->7.5
  • Unholy grave recipe gold cost 300->200
  • Unholy grave recipe lumber cost 800->500
  • Unholy grave armor 40->15
  • Unholy grave hp regen 0->100
  • Unholy grave hp 2500->3000
  • Credit card damage instances 6->5
  • Credit card damage 1.5%->1.4%
  • Ring of the hell lords damage period 0.8->1.20
  • Ring of the hell lords damage percent 3%->3.5%
  • Ring of the hell lords damage formula now includes the flat damage (25) as stacking damage for each tick.
  • Ring of greed damage period 0.8->1.5
  • Burst gem gold cost 100->150
  • Mana towers now fire once per second on all levels (1.5, 1.25, 1, .75, .75 were the previous values)
  • Mana towers deal 1->1.5 damage per mana drained
  • Level 1 mana tower burns 95->80 mana (still a buff with increased attack speed, damage, number of mana towers considered)
  • Level 2 mana tower burns 140->125 mana
  • Level 3 mana tower burns 260->250 mana
  • Level 5 mana tower burns 700->1400 mana
  • Mana tower lumber cost decreased
  • Disabled patch workaround (can no longer pass any item and reset its cooldown)
  • Unholy grave cooldown 45->20
  • Unholy grave hp 3000->5000
  • Ring of the hell lords cooldown 40->30
  • Ring of greed cooldown 40->25
  • Life bank lumber cost 7500->5000
  • Life bank gold bounty 75->40
  • Spike tower attack period 1->0.75 at all levels.
  • Onslaught back end reworked, it no longer shows green damage, but it still works.
  • Onslaught damage formula reworked, increases damage every 5->10 attacks now. It ramps up slower, but still gets the same max damage.
  • Changed the animation on ring of the hell lords, don't know if it will help, haven't looked at it yet.
  • Removed some environment fog, dunno if it'll look good or not.


Patch b bugfixes:
  • Vampire levels fixed (not getting levels on minute ticks)
  • Removed the "1" debug message


Patch b changes:
  • Beastbane armor hp 50,000->65,000
  • Beastbane armor strength 0->300
  • Beastbane armor gold cost 800->600
  • Frostbeast armor hp 100,000->115,000
  • Frostbeast strength 0->500
  • Vampires gain a level every 60->90 seconds



Got a few more things to do then I'll upload the map:
-rework onslaught
-rework the sfx on ring of the hell lords, transmog rework not really needed because you just aoe det it
-recode whisper so it works properly, fuck that item :s

I think someone already suggested this in another thread but can you set the map type so we can filter it with small and senario in the wc3 custom games list like the old map. If that's possible of course.

I skimmed through the editor and didn't see anything about this option. I think it may be an option on the bot side of things since not all dota maps fall under the filter.

yes it is botside. like i have said before, dotacash bots have show up under this filter even though dota does not pass for those filters. same with vb 1.500f

vb 1.500f must fall under these categories by default though because we use the !map command which loads it straight from the map. Later when I get a chance I'll make a config but you'll have to remind other root admins to use !load instead of !map command.

Why remove roar on units other than nosf when all it takes is a simple detonate to dispel. If it needed a nerf that badly, why not just make it that you can't tp to the roared units so they can still run in and fuck shit up with + damage (y)

In 1.5 and earlier the towers were balanced to deal with vamps that had much higher armor. Now the +50 armor roar gives is way more significant. Also, it is already hard enough to keep repairers on a wall if vamps are utilizing their arsenal. Balance has already favored vamps too heavily for a long time and some nerfs are needed. Sure, it is easy enough to hold off your average roared frenchie attempt in a frictionless vacuum, but a well coordinated roar would be much harder to deal with. It doesn't take much to roar again after you see a det go off, and there are already a lot of other things you can do while this is going on to screw over the human. Maybe roar can be changed back after the special towers are added in, but right now it really isn't needed or balanced.

It would be great if you could like triton said, be able to set it up so the small or medium bnet filter puts it under that category, I can't join games by typing in the name and have to look for it on the main list for the beta.

the same issue i have. not sure if windows 7 64 bit, modem/router combo, or some other unknown reason.

The presence of 1.5 on the small games filter is something that was discovered by happenstance and not the result of any particular setting on the bot so far as I can tell.  That said, I am contacting my server to see if they can provide any assistance here.  Will let you know what I get in reply.

NOTE: They usually reply fairly quickly, so check back this evening, I should hopefully have an answer then.

If you took the time to read the thread, you would discover that this was already discussed thoroughly. It was determined to be a bot issue, not a map issue.

The ghost bot server suggested that a map filter file in the maps config on the bot would perhaps solve our issue and make the games show up on the small maps filter games listing. This has been done and clearly does not work. I am contacting them to see if they have any other suggestions for us.

I made it work, but there's a new problem. It says no local copy of the map to send players. I emailed them on how to do that.
