Map Sponsorship for Vampirism Beast has reopened. If you have not yet sponsored or would like to sponsor again we would greatly appreciate your support. Sponsors who donate at least $20 will receive a custom in-game skin for their Human and their Vamp as a display of their support for the map. If you would like to sponsor, reply to this message with the information below. All donations MUST be made through Paypal. *NOTE: You may receive another skin for every $20 you donate

Skin Requirements:

All native wc3 models, no imports.
All skins must be unique, two people cannot have the same model.
Each skin may have 1 special effect (Immolation, Glow..etc) and one Blink animation.

When you say they've been "reopened", do you mean that people who sponsored previously are being considered after the fact, or donating another 20$? Either way my spider better get back in.

Can the boombaby skin not be fixed? The owner still plays regularly.

If not, can it be replaced with something else?

The casting animation is missing, so if he cast a spell and move immediately, he wont have a model so no one can right click him (like techies in dota or the goldwell bug). There are 1 way to fix: when he cast a spell, i will pause his unit until the casting ended, but then it leads to another issue: i probably be killed during that time.

In dota, when techies cast a spell, he also get paused.

In case of replacing, I think Triton will decide it later

The boombaby skill cannot be fixed it must be removed or changed. There is no way around the model. And yes all paid beta skins will be added.

If donation can be understand like "I like your work and here is something to support", previous donation is already go to Mark. And now donation to us is like "I like your bug fixing and stuffs and here is something to support".

donation $20 and we will say thank you by giving you a unique unused model. If you want to donate less than $20, we will have an option for you (I have many idea but I dont know if there is enough people like to donate less than $20, but as long as you donate, we will appreciate it). If we just simply give unique model to anyone who donate, then there will not enough skin in the pool for us. And it also unfair for previous donators.

Also if you think we just fixing bugs and do nothing important, you are free not to donate. It's always your choice and I cant go to your computer to control your pocket.

Fhf never built the map from scratch, M2tM did that. On the other hand, between 1.475 and 1.480 Fhf and I recoded most of the map since it was horribly inefficient and leaked memory like crazy and that has continued with the later versions so I would guess about none of M2tMs code is still in the map today.

Thats £12.22 just for a badly animated unit, on a map thats dying. Meh i guess people will pay anything to look important to the random pubs.

On another note, I find it humorous that the majority of people getting a skin spend 60% of their time on alts in the first place.

Oh and your note, here is a thing: when I have time, I will start to implement new login system that allow skin owners to access their skin instead of using the id (some owner like Gucci told me that he lost access to his battle net id). The only problem is I dont have time, yet, and the implementation of game play is far more important. But anyway, thank you for your note.
